Wednesday.

Wednesday is not a particularly special day, but I love it because it’s the day I get to leave early from work :O). It’s nice to work “normal” hours sometimes! After work I took a long walk in Rock Creek Park and I can’t believe how early it’s getting dark already!! I was home before 8 and it was pitch black outside. Bummer. I’m sure going to miss the long daylight hours.

My food pics are a little random today, so forgive me. I was hoping to make a photogenic dinner tonight, but I had no appetite for some reason! I ate half a piece of salmon and some crackers with humus. I wouldn’t want to bore you with what that looked like :O).

Instead you get a repeat of yesterday’s breakfast, since that’s what I ate this morning again. But this time something is different!

Louisa (my little sister) brought it back for me from Luxembourg this summer. She bought it especially to be featured on the blog. Isn’t that the sweetest idea?? I just love it. It goes so nicely with my bed spread too :O).

In other food picture news, my friend Nichole sent me the funniest picture via email today. It was titled: My New Boyfriend

Is that not the best thing ever? Okay slightly inappropriate but hilarious. She dug him up from her garden – that would be a a surprise!

Well, time is ticking before Top Chef begins. It’s the one show I’m managing to keep up with this fall, so I can’t break my streak!! Anyone have any particular favorites?? I looooove Bryan Voltaggio. He is just adorable and I want to go to his restaurant so bad!! It looks insanely good. It’s actually not far away from DC at all, so I see it in my future plans :O).
