I just have the work-out bug lately. I keep meaning to take a morning off, but yesterday and today when I woke up I just felt like being active. No complaints here – better than the reverse I suppose! Today I headed to the gym for my work-out. Even though the weather wasn’t bad, I think I’m getting back into the gym again. Probably a good thing since once the winter hits I’m not going to have much choice!
Once there I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and about 20 minutes of arms and abs strength training. I am making an effort not to overdo things this time so I don’t get burned-out again. That was not good.
On my way home from the gym I stopped at my favorite coffee shop and had a Toasted Cinnamon Cashew coffee with a bit of cream and sugar - yummm. Coffee is the best post work-out treat. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to have a treat after you work-out but in my world it’s 100% acceptable :O). Then I came home to cook some oats.
Jenna’s oats have been looking especially delish the past few days and since this weekend’s trip to TJ’s I had all the ingredients I needed to make my own.

- 1/3 cup each oats/vanilla soy/water
- tbsp. flax
- splash of vanilla
- banana
- scoop of pumpkin butter
- scoop of almond butter
Oh so good. Maybe would have even been a little better with some cinnamon – I’ll keep it in mind for my next batch.
Well that’s about it for today I guess! I’m not very exciting today am I?? I’ll try to think of something more interesting to ramble about by tomorrow :O).

Ahhhh Beth . . . I am your reverse right now. I have the stressed out from work, nervous about my exam next week bug . . . which doesn’t make a lot of time for working out . . . I better make time tomorrow!
