Hi Everybody!
And so the fun continued last night, with dinner and drinks at Pizzeria Paradiso in Dupont Circle. We thought it would be a fun place to take our visitor, with all of the unique beer offerings. Plus, what could be more American than pizza and beer?? To me, Paradiso has the best that DC has to offer.
We wanted to linger at our table for a while, so we tried to stretch things out by starting with a few appetizers for the table.
This is the Crostino Formaggio di Capra – Toasted Homemade Bread topped with Goat Cheese and Prosciutto di Parma. It was AWESOME. So much fresh flavor! I totally loved it.
We also ordered the Bruschetta – Toasted Homemade Bread topped with Cherry Tomatoes, Basil and Mozzarella Cheese. Also delish but definitely second to that gorgeous Crostino.
And then we shared two pizzas. The above is Atomica – Tomato, Salami, Black Olives, Hot Pepper Flakes, Mozzarella. My very favorite at Paradiso! Also (not pictured), the Bosco – Tomato, Mushrooms, Spinach, Red Onion, Mozzarella. As always, everything at Paradiso was a delight.
Every night I’ve been meaning to get a group shot of us to post in case Dan’s mum is reading (hi Ju!). Last night I finally remembered! Some funny drunk ladies across from us offered to take this one.
So there you have it! A few nights of delish food, delish drinks and fun company. And now it’s time for Beth to seriously detox. Ugh. See you tomorrow!

great group shot! that drunk lady must have some photography skills
orr maybe the subjects were just totally photogenic!
the pizzeria looks fab!
xo.
Detox… ahhhh…. I’m in that mode right now, too.
I swear I’ve been seeing an upswing of pizza on blogs lately and it’s making me crave one like no one’s business. Looks tasty!
Hooray for good food and company. Everything looks yummy….but I just want that Bruschetta! YUM!
I cracked up that the woman who took the photo was bombed. Hilarious. It’s well focussed and centred, can you imagine her photography skills when she’s sober??? Funny.
Have a great day.
haha – the best thing is, she asked for my card so she could email us the picture. but it was taken on MY camera! haha – drunk drunk drunk.
I love bruchetta!, my fav Italian appetizer!

I just decided that I can never get bored of pizza…..well, aside from Pizza Hut or something. I love it, I’ve had it twice this week and I’m fine with that.
